National Health Care Mythbusters#1: Kathleen
Posted by: Terri in Admin, New Media, Podcast, PoliticsHere’s one of the projects the MMJ team has been working on.
It’s the video companion to this very useful site: Health Care for America. The site was launched by a yoga teacher named Linda, who lives outside of Tokyo, and who wanted Americans to know that National Health Care, as experienced by Americans living abroad, is not a boogie monster, as some with vested interests back in the States would have us think. There are loads of myths and this blog and series gives Americans who’ve actually experienced National Health Care in their host countries a chance to tell their real stories.
The target audience is Americans who live in the States.
Check out the Health Care for America blog to read folks’ stories. We have a set of interviews we’re working on, which will also be part of the DAJ Podcast
Please use the Share button below to spread the word to the Americans you know back home, and abroad.
many thanks to Linda for this great concept, Lauren for putting it together, and all of the participants for all that you do… and many thanks to my favorite restaurant and home-away-from-home, Fujimamas for letting us shoot there - and for their excellent fare!
