Benesse Corporation and Tokyo University were our clients for this unusual audio podcast series, Eigo de Career UP (IT gyokai hen) an original audio drama to help Japanese server engineers understand English dialects in business situations. Target audience members want to feel comfortable with accented English, even in conference calls: the shows give them a chance to listen again and again to authentic business English. We wrote and produced a radio theater drama, with people with different English dialects, a funny storyline, and short business culture lessons. The series was #1 on the iTunes Podcast Charts for 8 weeks, garnered over 60,000 subscribers, and good reviews from listeners.
